Here at Fairy's we're having this really active discussion regarding the tragedies at New York and Washington, with more than 60 posts from all of you caring and concerned folks. Although I am posting a new article today, you can still read and post comments about the news. Thank you all for your thoughts and may God bless the souls of those who died and let us pray for those who lost their friends and loved ones.

I probably owe myself, Linda and Lutfi more than anybody else this next photo album I'm about to share with you. I know it's been 3 months since we stepped on OSU's campus, so ok, I'm a procrastinator! But hey I think it's worth the wait though. Hehe.

Well let's see... Before I left Ohio for good back in July, Linda and I went to OSU to pay fellow Malaysian and net-friend Lutfi from Epitome.nu a friendly and inter-university visit. I took these pictures while we were walking around checking the university grounds. I had been to Columbus many many times but never really bothered or knew anyone who was close enough to give me a personal tour. After driving about 1.5 hours from Athens, we finally got into Columbus and give this Lutfi guy a call right. Memang dah janji pukul 2pm kat rumah dia, but guess what when we knock on his door. Aik? No answer? Called him on his friend's cell and got him.

Me: "Lutfi kat mana nih? We all dah sampai depan rumah you (we're in front of your house dude)."
Lutfi: "Hah?! Depan rumah! Ok ok ... err.. I tgh makan lunch nih... (In front of my house?? Hang on, I'm having lunch right now)"
Me: "Hmph! kata nak lunch dengan kita orang! grrr..! (You promised to have lunch with us!)"

So that was how we were first greeted at Lutfi's house. We didn't even go in, the door just stared back blankly at us.

So we went downtown Columbus, found parking and had late lunch at BW3 (great place for chicken wings, yumm!). I felt little bit annoyed at Lutfi for forgotting to tell us that Java Grill, the Indonesian restaurant right next door, was having it's weekly Saturday buffet (as we found out later when we were done with our food)! Argh.

So I was into my 5th chicken wing probably when Lutfi walked in with his 'thugs' aka OSU friends hehe... like a gangster and its leader on the night prowl, into BW3. But as soon as Lutfi smiled, it melted away all my uneasiness about being with people I barely knew. Lutfi plopped himself right beside me and his friends grabbed chairs to gather around Linda, circling us like a bunch of hawks flying in for the rat kill! But as soon as Lutfi opened his mouth, it was just smooth sailing from there! Lutfi was just simply amazing, so friendly with an infectious personality! Talking and grinning non-stop! You can't help but like him almost immediately.

Ah, why let me babble... pictures paint a thousand words. Come and join me in a tour of Lutfi's campus at OSU. Lutfi if I ever get a chance, I'll try and make you a VCD of the videos we took that day okie buddy.

#16. Lutfi, today (Sunday) you guys in OSU ade visit from Dr Zaraitul or Zaratul (well the malaysian ambassador in DC)?
She and 3 other people from DC are currently visiting OSU. Ni kejap lagi nie she's coming to visit OU pulak.
